GoCarma is a useful tool for commuters in the Dallas-Fort Worth area who want to take advantage of high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) toll discounts on the TEXpress Lanes during peak periods on weekdays.

How It Works

To qualify for a 50% toll discount, simply make sure there are at least 2 people in the vehicle with the GoCarma app on their phone. The app will automatically activate and use GPS and Bluetooth to verify your HOV status, even when it's closed.

Before you start your journey, you can check your current status by tapping on the orange button on the home screen. Later in the day, you can revisit the home screen to confirm if you qualified for the discount or consult your toll bill.

Traveling with Kids?

If you're traveling with kids, there's no need to worry. Just send us a message and we'll provide you with an Occupant Pass that you can carry onboard whenever you have children in the car. This pass is a small and non-trackable Bluetooth tag that informs the GoCarma app that there is a second person in the vehicle.

GoCarma is currently available only in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Your Privacy Matters

At GoCarma, we value your privacy. We only use your GPS data when you are traveling on an active corridor, such as the TEXpress Lanes in Dallas-Fort Worth, and during peak time periods on weekdays. This data is solely used to verify your HOV status and is automatically deleted after 60 days.
